MARY

I truly believe a creative person thinks faster than most people and sometimes that can be an advantage:

Mary is one of those creative people. She has the ability to think ahead while talking to others. Meaning, before you finish your sentences...most likely she already knows what you are going to say and already have an answer in her mind. You see ,she has been gifted with an anticipatory and analytical personality. Most great coaches have one or the other. Some exceptional coaches such as Mike Krzyzewski , John Wooden, Vince Lombardi , Tom Landry and very few others have both.

Well, conscience or subconscience , I do not know how it occurred , but she unknowing past that talent on to me. In my coaching , I found that my greatest asset , my ability to anticipate was a skill that I learned from her. During the game I could visualize the next strategy of my opposing coaches and had a counter-strategy already in my mind even before they could put their plan into action. I was not born with that gift as I feel Mary was , but I developed that talent at an early age from playing games and interacting with her.

Today Mary is a retired educator with over 30 years in the school system. Along with being an active member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority , she is also involved and supports various church , civic and community organizations.

I can talk about this lady all day long , you see we are basically alike. We are both creative , slightly meticulous and family oriented . In fact , Mary has been the backbone of our family. She has been there for all of us . There is nothing we can do to compare to the love , support and caring she has given us over the years. She has been a wonderful sister , a best friend and a total blessing in my life and I know each family member feels exactly the same way.

Barbara's love isn't how she forget, but how she forgive. Not how she listen, but how she understand. Not how she see, but how she feel and Not how she let go, but how she hold on!"

BARBARA 

Now , Barbara Gillespie can only be equated with strength and faith . She is the strongest person I know. Within her quiet , unseeming demeanor stands a power of strength and determination. She found happiness over the years being an educator , teaching in the DC School system for over thirty years and designing her life for the enrichment of her family.

Barbara faces challeges with courage and her courage overflows and spills on everyone around her. She is the kindness person I know , her heart and her love proceeds her. While growing up , she carried herself with beauty and class and now many years later those elements are still present in the way she lives and represents herself. I can personally can say , she is one classy lady that I am proud to call my Sista.

CHERYL

Everyone wants to be happy. Most people wait for happiness to come to them.
Cheryl understands that only true happiness comes as a result of making others happy. She do not wait for happiness to come by , she knows happiness can be created at every moment of your life. Cheryl lives to serve rather than to be served. Sharing and giving is a joy and not a pain or a sorrow for her . She has a deep understanding of life and is not afraid to give herself to others.

The happiness and success of others is the accomplishment Cheryl has for herself.

When you are in the presence of my sister and her family you can feel the love and caring that exist. You see, unconditional love is a charateristic that most people do not have , but it is one that Cheryl lives by. She is so comfortable with herself that she makes everyone feel at ease. It is ovious that she has a strong faith in God , because her confidence in dealing with difficult situations leaves you feeling that everything will be alright.

Cheryl is a women with a plan and her constant priority in her life is her committment to her family. This young lady continues to build herself up both personally , occupationally and maintain standards that she refuses to go below. Cheryl represents and exempify the strenigth and power of todays Modern Women
