LeAnne opened her first business in 1995 .
After 9 sucessful years in the Cable Television and the Banking Industries , Leanne wanted to take her life in a different direction. She always had a dream of owning her own business.
One sunday after church LeAnne and I took a leisure ride , as we have done so often before and there we saw a vacant hamburger shop. LeAnne talk about that shop for the next two weeks. We had no ideal of how to run or manager a restaurant type business. But after seeing her excitement , we took a leap of faith and decided that it was something we would like to try. I was teaching at E.E. Smith so LeAnne understood that most of the responsibility would be hers.
LeAnne got a lease , found ventors and hired a staff of six , as if she had been doing this for years. In March of 1995 , her first business , Big Mouth Burgers became a reality. This little lady did it all , in fact, she ran the business so professionally that most customers thought it was a major franchise.
I hate to boast , but she had the biggest and the best burgers in town. There were times , cars were lined up at both drive-thru windows.I remember several days leaving school going straight to Sam's and picking-up items to cover additional orders .During that time , companies like Soffe's and others would order thirty to forty burgers during lunch and LeAnne would have the employee's jumping.
I remember one day my principal Lonnie McAllister and Paulette came by to get some burgers , Lonnie came to school the following monday morning and said Roy , those burgers were so big , me and paulette ate off them the whole dammn weekend. I had to laugh , he was the best principal I ever had. We both enjoyed the food business although it was a lot of work , it really was a lot of fun and leanne performed like a champ.
But , sometimes good things come to an end and Within a year the shopping plaza was sold and the building was demolished and so ended Big Mouth Burgers.
But , it did not take long for LeAnne to get going again. She immediately begin searching for another business, especially one that was not as physically demanding as the food industry.
In June of '96 , LeAnne found a little shop on Raeford Rd and opened Raintree Apparel. A shop that specialize in ladies casual suits and business apparel . The store had moderate success until 2001 and in that year she begin a different line of clothing. She changed the name of the store to LeAnne Church Suits and begin to carry the high end , top of the line ladies churchwear and the store really took off.
Never being content , in 2005 she move to a larger location and added her internet business : www.leannechurchsuits.com for convenient online shopping. Seizing the opportunity for a much better and more customer friendly location , in 2008 LeAnne move once again to 4926 Raeford Rd. Fayetteville , NC and once again changed the name of her business to what it is now called Sunday Best Suits
This lady have customers coming from all over the area , because they heard of her courteous service , friendly smile , top quality clothing and outstanding prices.
I have to say , this lady has a gift for being successful in the business world ,I am proud of her achievements.
